So, we have decided to start the transition of unswaddling little Miss Molly. Last night was the first night and it went just okay. She went to bed at her normal time (8:00) with no problems and was out like a light. I heard her crying and looked at the clock and had to look at it again because it only said 12:00! I headed in there and gave her her pacifier and she fell back asleep. The next time she cried, it was a few minutes before 2:00 am. The next time, I didn't even look at the clock but nudged Ted to go in there and give her her pacifier. Then finally, I heard her after I got out of the shower this morning around 5:45 and brought her in the bed with Ted until I finished getting ready. So, all in all, it was not bad, but I would have hoped it would have been a little better. But, we are trying it again tonight to see what happens. She may not be ready to come out, but I also don't want her to become so dependent on it that the only time she will go to sleep is when she is swaddled.
The other good thing to come out of this experience is that my Mom said that she slept for 2 hours this afternoon......in her crib! We have been trying to get her to take naps in the crib, but just like her brother, she is having none of it. She will cat nap for about 30 minutes, and then want nothing to do with it. She sleeps like a champ in the swing (again, just like her brother), but the difference between her and Brody is that she can sleep in the swing even when it is not swinging, whereas Brody had to be swinging to go to sleep. It is so funny how they are so alike in some ways, yet so vastly different in others. I have no clue how God has blessed me with two calm, laidback, great kids, but I am truly thankful. They definitely get that trait from their father, because Lord knows, I am not laidback!
I am going to try and post some more pictures from this past weekend. Hopefully my computer will cooperate!

I love all the pictures. They are so cute. We kept Samuel swaddled for a while. I think over 3 or 4 months. He loved it also. Joseph has never been swaddled. He didn't want to have anything to do with it. It is crazy how different two kids can be. It amazes me every day.
