Today, I had Brody and Molly since Brody didn't have daycare. We had a pretty great day with only one meltdown for Brody, which was when he normally melts down right around dinner time. However, he cracked me up after dinner. I was getting him some applesauce and I went to get one of his bowls out of the cabinet. When I grabbed one, a few others fell out of the cabinet onto the counter. Brody of course was looking and immediately said, "Oh my gosh....what a mess!" Plain as day.......I couldn't stop laughing. It was hilarious. I guess I must say that alot and not realize it. It is a good thing that he picked up that phrase and not a few other choice phrases I like to use!
Here are a few pics of Molly. She is cooing alot and smiling more every day. The past couple of nights she has woke up at 3:00 am, which is not as great as the few days before that, but it is not too bad. At this point, she is only getting up the one time, and I can't complain. She has also started focusing on other things, like the flowers on the bouncy seat. She also likes to stare at Brody alot. Maybe it is cause he is so loud....but it is really cute.
Brody is obsessed with Yo Gabba Gabba. I feel as though we have created a monster. I had bought a DVD with shows on it about a month ago with the hopes that he would actually sit still for a little bit rather than going, going, going. Well, now he wants to watch them all the time. We have three and I can pretty much recite them.....Ted can too. Here is a picture of him doing one of their dances.
This is a picture of him sitting on his train table in the playroom. We tell him all the time not to sit on the table, and as he climbed up there, he said "no sit on table." His teachers at daycare have told me that Brody knows all the class rules.....they are now working on getting him to follow them. He knows when he is doing something that he is not supposed to and will pretty much admit to it as he is doing it. Just like when he throws everything out of his crib at night and cries for us to come in there. We will go in there and he will point and say "don't throw things out of the crib." It is cute yet frustrating at the same time. I guess I shouldn't have taken a picture, but I couldn't help myself. He is such an awesome kid and I love him with every ounce of my being......
