Happy Birthday Nana

This weekend, my Grandma turned 96! Can you even imagine having your 96th birthday? I can't. And she is still getting around, pretty lucid for the most part, and has a memory like an elephant! We went out to dinner Saturday night to celebrate and she said this would definitely be a birthday she would never forget. I do hope she can say the same thing next year! :)

I have to say, as the days and months go by, I am starting to get more and more uncomfortable. Even though they say little Molly is only in the 45th percentile for weight and is less than 3 lbs., I feel like I am carrying around a ton of bricks. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I am carrying her soooooooo low. Basically, when they did the ultrasound, she was chilling right on my cervix, so you know that is really comfortable. I just can't imagine getting bigger than I already am, but I know it will happen. I have started to have this feeling that I won't make it until Dec 21st. Not sure what that is about, but I just feel like she might come earlier. But, as long as she is healthy, I don't really care when she comes. We only have a few more things to get for her room and we have pretty much everything else, so if she decides to make her grand appearance earlier, we are prepared. I never realized how hard it is to be this pregnant and take care of a 1 1/2 year old. But, I have nothing to complain about. I am so thankful for what I have I can't even begin to describe it. For someone who thought she would never have kids and was starting to come to that startling realization a couple of years ago, the fact that we have a healthy 1 1/2 year old, a healthy baby getting ready to make her appearance, not to mention a pre-teen who is starting to really notice the ladies :), I thank God everyday for what I have!

Other than that, our summer has pretty much passed us by. It has been so cold the last week or so, with temps in the 40s yesterday and today. I do love this weather though. I love fall and winter. People think I am crazy, but I like the cold. I hate getting sick, but I love bundling up and having the heat on!

I haven't taken many pictures of Brody recently. I am going to have to start getting back into the mood of taking pictures once Molly is here. I have so many pictures of Brody from birth to atleast a year that I can not slight her. I wouldn't want to do that to her.

I am off to watch a movie with Ted. Night-Night!
